Cuba

Cuba is a country which I recommend you visit before it moves closer to the USA and is redeveloped, and invaded by  MacDonald's, KFC and Pizza Hut.

Cuba is unique and has changed very little over the last fifty years, since being 'isolated' by the USA following Fidel Castro's overthrow of the Batista's Dictatorship in the late 50's. The country has gone through very difficult times, being isolated both politically and economically. More recently the country has been opened up to tourism, and the main hotels around the country have been renovated and decorated to varying degrees, however money and materials have not been available to to improve areas beyond this. Visiting Havana is like taking a trip into the past.
